It's a site where you answer simple questions and in return you donate rice to poeple who can't even afford there own food. I think that it is a good site because it makes me feel good that I know that someone is going to get a free meal.
Feel free to post your highest donation and stuff.
I like it. It was actually mentioned somewhere a while back by Florglee. I love the fact that a man found a way to educate the common man while feeding those in need. It's addicting too. I've donated over 10,000 grains of rice total. ^ ^ We had to do it during English last year. Ah, what a great teacher I had... I think the most I've donated at once is like 2000. Took forever. xD
That's very nice Cholokid. Seeing a fellow Armorgamer wanting to help those in need. 2000 grains of rice, thats a nice number. The most ever donated at once was around 6300 or something like that. It took about 2-3 hours.
There's one thing I've always wanted to know is; How to they count the individual grains of rice.
This is a really great website. I love how you can help the poor while educating yourself. But how do we know that they are actually donating the amount of rice that they say they are?
Wow, coicedence! I was just on it. I think it is a cool site. Is says that sponsors pay for your donated rice. I bet that they count out the grains by weight, so you might not donate the exact amount. I donated 3000 yesterday.
I have donated 2,540 grains. I looked it up and these people accually do doonate the rice. The only problem is, 1000 grains of rice is only about a bowl of rice.
I usually have the window open for a VERY LONG TIME. I usually do it for an hour or so straight at a time, but never close he window. I count one sitting as until I close the window.
