Now this is about whether u think it is safer to wear a seatbelt or not... There have been cases in which wearing seat belts have been safer, as they keep the person in. But then again there have been cases where the impact was so severe that the seat belts broke and was unable to unclip to get the passenger out. This of course normally tends to lead to more severe cases then if the person was just to get thrown out of the car or moved around in the car.
ummm clearly stated in the text of the click it or ticket its about the police.... not us as humans thinking about whether or not to do this....which is why i made this... look at the topic before you start stating this stuff..
I think it's like flying, it's much safer than the alternative (not wearing them) but you only hear about when they don't work, I mean whens the last time you heard "Seatbelt Saves Life"
Ohio!lol well it's a secondary offense but all the same it still is. But really it's not that much more comfortable to not wear it. It's a pretty big chance for a little more comfort.

If people are trying to stay alive during accidents, they should wear their seatbelt. The denizens of road safety tests that have been done show conclusively that it's better for your safety to wear a seatbelt, rather than to not to wear a seatbelt.
I have only one thing to say about this thread... I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for seatbelts. I'll always be thankful for Mom making my brother and I use them from the beginning.
they can save and they can hurt.. but for every good thing there is always a bad.. its just how it works.. it might save you from a wreck but hurt you if you cant get it undone and your car is on fire
But what if, like, there was this, like, explosion and then, like, you got stuck because of your, like, seatbelt, like, and ythen you totally died. Who would it be saving then?
But seriously, seatbelts should have to be worn. I don't think it's even down to oppinion, if you're that irresponsible that you don't thin kthey should be then you shouldn't be allowed to drive a car. END
