krin has given each class the ability to do massive ammounts of damage with a single attack. this attack usually requires a bit of setup to reach its full potential.
In Bios this attack is widrawal which requires you to go into predator+toxicant+shadow blend+sharp senses/enrage to do HUGE ammounts of damage
In hydros this attack is shatter which requires atleast 3 water/ice buffs on the enemy,this to does huge ammounts of damage.
Now to come to the topic in psychos believe it or not this attack is IMPLOSION.to achieve very high damage a psycho must choose the path of a shadow.by around lvl 20 or so you should have unlocked-
dark echos- the damage dont is not very high,but it lowers the shadow defense of the ememy
epiphany-this is THE best attack of the shadow tree
it damages the ememy for 120% of your instinct.Alone the damage is not very high but when combined with insecurity it is epic.
insecurity-lesser defense against your attacks=more damage taken
psycho. form-increases instinct by 30% and boosts helth focus regen.Enough said.
dark infusion-its weaker that epiphany but gets stronger with implosion
implosion- this is the core of your damage.It doubles the DoT of your attacks. dont stop after seeing the 600% health regen speed up.seriously how many enemies have you seen heal them selves for more that 500hp.EXCLUDING GREGOR NONE OF THEM.
free will- its always handy to have when you are low on health.
now for the part that you all have been waiting for
how do you damage an ememy for 20k with only DoT
This is the way i do it.
Epiphany->insecurity->sycho form->dark infusion->dark echos->implosion.
using the above order of attacks my lvl 30psycho can do 20k damage when implosion is applied.this 20k does not include the damage the ememy has taken even before you applied implosion
see for yourself if you skip the turns of the opponent(i say this because the enemies in the campaign rarely crystalize/flash freeze/traumatize you) if you do the setup right you will do 15k+ damage when you apply implosion and around 7k during the setup.

This strategy does not work well on a legend run, apparently...
2 electrical storms? what on earth for? i only have 1 and it works fine =P-i havent reallt played electric pyschos in a while but the 2 electric storms are useful when you want to dish out moderate ammounts of damage(usuallt the death blow) without actually wasting your shocks which could be used for the other enemy on which your shocks will be more worthwhile
ANDDD what do you do between bursts?
my sonny is currently loading and am gonna ans your q when it does....ah its done there is really very little chance of you running out of focus with this build because epiphany costs 5focus
insecurity costs 7focus
psycho form costs nothin and regens you focus
dark infusion costs nothin
darks echoes costs 7focus (which gets regenerated cause you in psycho form)
implosion costs 5focus (which gets regenerated cause you in psycho form)
nonono i mean how much would you lose by ditching dark infusion in the setup and just going:my lvl 30 psycho would lose around 2k damage if dark infusion was not applied with the implosion
Insecurity->Psycho Form->Epiphany->Dark Echos->Implosion
Because then you get the Psycho boost when you use Epiphany, take one less turn to get to the BOOM, and have an extra spot on your wheel. =D
i really try not to get rid of the default attack of any of my characters cause if for some sick twisted reason you run out of focus with a psycho you are screwed.and if you get scilenced(cannot use focus) wat you gonna do? thats why how ever bad the default move is i always keep it on my ability wheel
Flagi have said this many times and i shall repeat myself.only convert to shadow in zone 3 if you find that difficult do it in zone 4 or even do it on zone 5 cause the enemies are just tooo weak in z3 and 4 to whitstand the entire setup because srsly when i got to the point of casting implosion on the enemies in z3 and 4 i realised that even without doing so they were gonna die with the DoT

why deal 20k of damage on an enemy which has only 4k health.the only time i kno my entire setup and attack has been truly succesful is when the enemy does not die but is critically injured but the entire attack,it happens many times in z4 when you are dealing 1k DOT on the enemy and when its time to apply the implosion the enemy has 100hp left.this attack is only truly efficient in zone 5 when each and every unit of damage is used to kill the enemy and not to over kill the enemy but like 2k of damage
sorry for triple post but does anybody kno the strength of the force field(i.e how much damage does it take to break)of the aneroid guards.

If you look at buff description it says 5000, I think.
no it just says 'this unit is protected against 40x its own strength this cannot be dispelled'

I personally threw that onto my wheel instead of dark infusion, since now i can regain focus if traumatize drains it AND i have a decent attack to use when im silenced =D

no i actually went to PvP AGAINST MY lvl 30 hydro and caste dark infusion and implosion did 2100 damage if i had put on psycho form insecurity and dark echoes would have done 2500 damage

Well traumatize costs 15 focus, which was on your bar in the pvp code...
my free will and traumatize are just desperate measures.i refuse heal any of my allies wast of a turn.i got veradux this superb weapon wrath of the council i think +150 instinct(most propably more) and lightning and some other piercing.the traumatize...ah i remember i had got it for the baron fight..rofl!.was to it really didnt catch my attention so it just stayed there..XD
Heres how I did 30k dmg to the boss on zone 7.
Sacrifice x 2 ( kill both dux and rolad ) , Psy form , Epiphany , Insecurity , Dark Infusion , Dark Echoes , Implosion.
I had put all atribute points in Insticnt , so speed is low and Dark Echoes can miss often which is bad . Another way to do it is to replace Dark Infusion ( the move right before Dark Echoes ) with Wraith Form to gain speed .
