Just some tips for the awesome futuristic sports game now on armorgames.
People are allowed to post more hints, even encouraged.
1- At the beginning, don't change your stats You don't need to and not doing it leads to a better, more balanced team.
2- Save for Newbies People you buy are better than those you train. In the first two divisions, having one or two really good players makes a huge difference.
3- Buy equipment Equipment is better and worth saving for, it increases all player's skills in that category, no one or two like training does.
4- Save your drugs I don't think drugs are needed until Division 1, same with bribing.
Hope this helped, and please post your own tips as well.
I don;t normally pass, I just throw it. I maxed out my team, and it works well. I've found that speed and toughness are the most important attributes for an offensive team like mine- and trading for a 4 or 5 star goalie early on can save your ass a LOT. I've become world champion twice now without losing a single game in any game on either career ever.
i think the best formation is goal hang becuase it keeps two players down by their goal so when you get it you can just luanch it down there and score. Also try to keep money so you can buy really good players in the offseason
There are some good and bad matchups for each formation. I remember playing against a division 1 team that used a formation where there were two players up front with a gap between them, and I just did one where I had one guy with maxed speed in the center who would dash between them, take the ball, and get a running goal. The match ended up 21-0 because of that.
Whatever, sometimes if you have not developed your team enough and find your self losing games, drugs can save your season. Besides, I have only got caught once. Also, I prefer Counter Attack. At any one time you can focus your players on offense or defense. Goal Hang can be beat with a concentration on attacking the middle of the field.
Not necessarily. I've found quite a nice counter to goal hang using counter attack. Even with the five players usually back near the goal in goal hang, they tend to scatter when your 8-9-10 go for the attack.
well you are aloud your oppinion its just when i play i usually use goal hang becuase i am comfortable with it i am not trying to get you to do something you think is wrong
Nor am I trying to make you try any other formations. I was simply voicing my personal experience with the formations from both single and multi-player modes.
using a laggy computer helps because you can think more
I've noticed recently my computer has been lagging in Crunchball, and I could not agree more that it does give you much more time to think about plays and focus passes.
i have been playing this game alot and i noticed if you change the names of the players and then you trade them they keep their name! I think that is pretty cool
For me, I believe that you should but players until you get to the first division, than I say stick with your team and improve the players you already have.
