Here you can draw your own "Pokemon" based on a theme...

RULES
All pictures must be made using MS paint or GIMP. It can also be hand drawn.

They have to be appropriate! I don't want nasty-looking stuff!

They have to be your own Pokemon. Don't steal other people's creations!

The winner will choose a date (maximum time: 2 weeks) and "Theme/Type" for every contest. I will begin choosing a theme.

Nobody win 2 times in a row!

The entries must be done before the date has expired.

-----

This time they have to represent Blobs.
The deadline will be the 7th of June... (the Sunday after Sweden's national day)

....
Now go make some Fakemon already!

P.S... I will only judge one Fakemon per user. Keep that in mind!

Riou you obviously don't know what spam is. When two people are having a discussion, not even an argument, about the rules of a thread, it is not spam. And if you think it is, why not flag it? Lets see if a mod agrees with you. Now also, don't tell people to shut up, its rude and makes you look arrogant. Which is not a good thing.

Vampy, I am sorry that you don't like the rules of the thread, but not everything revolves around one user. If you don't enter, we are all sorry to hear that. But, unless Zega decides to allow Photoshop, which I doubt will happen due to the fact that it is unfair to users who cant afford it, and with your statement about users being too young to download Gimp, well that's their fault. This is a 13+ site. So if they lie to get in, they will have to deal with that.

Whats the problem in being 12? I just turned 13 and I am just as capable of doing stuff as any 15 or 16 year old. In drawing that is.

Well, if I wanted to put my time in practicing with paint I could and eventually get better. It doesn't matter how old you are

If you want to argue about age, take it to the Tavern or the Support Section.

The reason for MS Paint is that more people have access to it and can get it but with GIMP or Photoshop, you have to download those and some people cant do that so we use Paint since almost everyone can.

Not everyone can afford photoshop, which means that those who do own it are given an unfair advantage. Thus, using photoshop is against the rules to level the playing feild.
This is not true. Any art program is allowed in the grand old official Art Skills Competition. Don't you think that would have been level'd out as well?
Rules like "you must make it in MS Paint" or "you must make it in GIMP" (NOT in either) are put in to level the field. Rules about which specific programs may be used are put in to specify what you're allowed to make it in. Once there's two very different programs allowed, it doesn't level anything.

But.
The only reason this one has the "MS Paint or GIMP or handdrawn" rule, is because Zega said so, because he is the judge. And apparently some people failed to notice what he wrote a few posts later.
I am changing one rule...

All pictures must be made using MS paint or GIMP. It can also be hand drawn.
To:
You can make them with any program except for 3D programs like the Spore thingy....

So Photoshop is perfectly allowed here too.

Why are you so desperate to change the rules? Wouldn't it just be easier to abide by them over fighting them?

And I have never used gimp, but I am assuming that it does not allow multiple layers to be made. I suggest just dealing with it instead of causing commotion, its the best way to go when new to the forums.
I wouldn't say anyone were desperate to change the rules. Searching for a reasoning behind what seems an unfair exclusion is not being desperate. It is, however, a failure to read the entire first page. :P

And GIMP does support layers. It is actually kind of like a free version of Photoshop, except not as good. Counting in the freeware factor, though, it is just as good.

And enough with the newbie suppression. New guys are allowed to speak up too.

And now you all should just shut up with being off topic. Discussion of the rules IS on topic and is not spam, you all suddenly starting to discuss what the age requirement to have an account on AG is, is VERY off topic.

...

One final note: Do never argue about the rules if you do not know them yourself.

*deletes off topic spam about age*

How to i post an image?

1. Upload to photobucket, imageshack, dA, ect.

2. Take the direct link of that picture and when you click the button that says "IMAGE" you paste the link there and wala.

Now if it is something frome google images then you would click on the image then click on the See Full Size Image and take that URL and post it into the "IMAGE" button as I mentioned before.

(That's a very helpful comment made by samdawghomie, I learned to post pictures thanks to that)

1. Upload to photobucket, imageshack, dA, ect.

Photobucket: Second link, called Direct link.
ImageShack: First option, called Direct link.
dA: Go ot the image, press download (in the side menu to the left), and use the link from there. It should be the image on a white background, otherwise, you are doing it wrong).

Just to clarify.

omg, this thing will NEVER be judged

Zega has not been online for some time, show some patience, there is plenty of other contests to join in the meantime.
