You really need to not name them with the -mon at the end, no pokemons are named like hat. :P At least non that I remember right now. Maybe there's one. But it's a DigiMon trait, so quit naming pokemons like that...

It's a dual type (Water/Lightning), and they are said to be born when lightning strikes the ocean. When a ship sails over a colony of them, their compasses goes haywire because of their magnetic properties.

Hmmm....maybe I should rename mine...although I called my something before everyone made it end with Mon...

And besides...the 'mon' at the end of mine is referring to the French 'mon,' in the idea of the possessive adjective 'my.'

So really, literally it is 'blob my,' or to put it simply 'My Blob.'
