i believe most people at least know of the game RuneScape but just how many people hate it and love it? I'm putting this topic up to see everyone's opinion. RuneScape in my opinion is a game for being social and 'owning noobs'. With a hell lot to do in members and little to do in Free-members. Is it good enough to play or not?
I thought it was terrible. Most MMO games struggle to retain any degree of entertainment, to deceive the player that they're really just participating in a huge glorified grind in order to get more equipment for the purpose of getting more, better equipment... and Runescape didn't manage that at all for me. Really bad.
i tried it and it was only fun as a member but it wasnt worth the money. this website is just as fun and its free and you can never get bored because there is always new stuff.
I've played it and now my lil' cousin plays it. It was pretty enertaining to play with friends and stuff. And with members there's just so much you can do, but after a month of playing. You get a feeling this isn't a good game and you need to play something else. I would not reccomend to play RuneScape for long periods of time. Otherwise, as long as you're bored and have friends on it. Why not?
Well I gota tell ya i played it for about two years got up to level 121, but than i got board of it cause all i was doing was training and i didn't have enough time to do that. So i ended my membership i still have the account, but i don't go on it anymore just to check on it to make shure it doesn't get deleted i put so much work into it and for no reason i don't really like the game anymore, but hey what cha' gona do...
Pretty cool this is a popular thread. And tim by now with the updates my cousin told me about i think if you stop trainning it my be more interesting. Plus he says too many 'high levels' play it and it's hard for him to good in any PvP. Speaking he's 9 and at level 67 lol.
It is the 2nd best game if you are too poor to afford an xbox in my opinion. The first goes to "Fallen Empire: Legions"
A lot of runescape is just level grinding, not that fun really. But if you want to take a break from it and actually explore the meticulously planned world then it gets to be quite fun.
