You cant say a game is awful just because you dont like it/suck at it. Some people like wow, which is why the game rakes in millions of dollars a month.
My favorite game for PC would have to be Postal 2: Share the Pain. Mainly for its hilarity and off-brew seriousness. Plus you can pee on Gary Coleman.
Civilization IV. Great turn based strategy. Also cheap and even the slowest computers can run it. It's old though, so don't be like 'These graphics suck!' or anything. For nerds Spore is a good one. Both games have endless replayability.
