i dont mean to spoil it for anyone but the second ending is that will smith and his friends live and they all find a new city with people, no zombies, and walls to keep the zombies out

Well they didn't really find anything, they just driving off one of the bridges out of the city, which is weird because supposedly all the bridges are supposed to be out.
And the way they get out of the house alive is that the Leader of the infected started looking at the infected girl that Will was testing with, so Will decided to let the girl go.

Happy ending.

My biggest problem with it was that it was a remake of the 50's film Omega Man, in which there were vampires in the city, and the man went out at night to hunt them. But I Am Legend had some sort of whacked out zombies, other humans alive in the city, a dog, a different ending, and a totally new story. He didn't even go out and kill the creatures on purpose, just did experiments and wound up killing off a couple of them by accident. Not was I was expecting from a REMAKE. But stand alone, it was a great movie.

The movie was adapted from the 1954 science fiction/horror novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. Omega Man was released in 1971 and an adaptation of the same novel.

Shoot, you're right. Sorry 'bout that. I always get the dates mixed up.

It's alright, I'll give you a bonus point if you can tell me the one other movie that was adapted from the same point.

Yeah, a couple flaws, quick. Mainly little nitpickings, but it's far from perfect. And lemme see, ucf...uh...no, I'm drawing a blank.

Ah crap. Are you serious? I missed that? It must be getting late, because I'm a bit slow, if I couldn't get that right.

lol so when i saw it in theaters with my cousin and my sister, we were laughing hysterically at the ending because our uncle lives in Vermont and he lives on a mountain full of rednecks and THE TOWN LOOKS SO MUCH LIKE IT LOL!!!The only things missing are the cross-eyed drunks in lumberjack shirts and empty Bud cans everywhere... good movie though, I liked it.

When the main character screams at the mannequin, it actually turns its head to look at him. Not a flaw, though. It was done on purpose.

I think it was too short.
They are making a Prequel to this movie, maybe it will be longer.
