Pretty nice start, pixie. A word of advice: going to the 'script' tab and opening various scripts to manipulate the fractal flames can make them much cooler Just go to 'script' then click on the 'open' tab, and choose a script file. Then, click on the green triangle in the toolbar to run it. That;s how I got triforce overload to be a triforce overload.
I wish they'd make an Apophysis version for Macs. I haven't been able to find any good fractal editor for OS X... I have a fractal display thingy, but it will only let you edit the colour.

Macs aren't totally artistically superior then :P ---- Apo is a really thorough fractal program for freeware. The scripting engine is great, and the gradient selection is surprisingly good. Also, the option to reverse and invert gradients adds a lot of flexibility and depth. ----- U liek mah fractalz, Zoph?
You trying to achieve certain looks with your scripts yet, or still just playing around?
I was trying for symmetry with that one. Also, it struck me as appearing statueesque, t least the center part. -------
What transformations are you using?
It would be hard to detail- I use different ones fro different flames, of course. I randomized the transformation and then used the 'Sierpinski' script for Triforce Overload, as well as some general manipulation using the flame editor. I also generated the basic start for 'Dark Altar' and the second untitled one by using the 'bilateral batch process' script, as well as the 'Statueesque' one I posted. I was trying for symmetry in my most recent submission- and i was shooting for a somewhat ornate look in the 'Dark Altar' one as well. I especially like the 'bilateral batch process' script, because it generates fractal flames that seem much more mutatable and transformable to a specific end.
Hey alt... you could call that lastest one 'Wormhole' as well... that was the first thing it reminded me of! Well, in a dark, twisted way that is. Sorta like Alice in Wonderland vs. American McGee's Alice, if that means anything to you >.>
