I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to get the best results here on AG but Its the forums I enjoy so here goes. If anyone knows the band Circa Survive, then you know that Anthony Green was the former singer of Saosin. Youtube videos of Saosins' comments are nothing but AG VS CR wars. I've noticed in a lot of bands that change singers, that people prefer either the original singer, or the singer they heard first that began their intrest in the band to begin with. I'll start with how I feel. If you've ever heard Anthony Green sing, you know he has a unique voice to say the least. Granted, I am estatic that his leaving of Saosin led to Circa Survive's beginning given that its my favorite band, but I cannot deny his amazing time in Saosin. IMO, cove cannot sing. Well he can, but does not come close to Anthony's level. I've watched countless videos of cove live singing an old song and compltely butchering seven years. He sounds great on cd but terrible live. Anthony delievers amazing live or otherwise. I still feel it was for the better that he left and cove took over, because Saosin is still a great band, but they will never be the same without mr. green.
