hey guys, sorry 2 waste space w/such a topic-specific post, but there doesn't seem 2 be ne way 2 do a search in the forums itself--the box at the top of the page is only a search for games on the site.
SOOO--here's my question/dilemma--in Zone 3, on the train, i'm WAXING "the host", but CANNOT get him 2 drop his sword, the ancient katana. n i didn't start counting the # of tries until i got 2 around 10 or so, but now i gotta be somewhere around THIRTY, n STILL haven't gotten it yet.
SO WTF M I DOING WRONG???!!! or did krin change the drop options, so he doesn't drop it, n i gotta get it in the next battle, against the 3 spectres? THANX
I've never got the Host to drop the Ancient Katana, just the Top Hat and Tuxedo. I've usually gotten it from the Phantom, but I think I recall a Spectre droping it too. A lot of the items in zones 3 and 4 can come from multiple sources.
thx elnimrodo--so ok, if the host is already stage 7 in zone 3, n there's only 10 stages, n clemons is the end boss, n the 3 spectres r stage 8, does that mean the phantom is in stage 9?
i ask b/c i don't wanna miss out on getting it if the host is gonna drop it--thanx

klint--well, i'm not in zone 4 yet, n i like 2 have backup weapons n backup armor, since i'm playing on challenging, n it seems my characters outmatch the enemies when i use my best stuff. so i only use my main armor n weapons 4 the boss battles. n as far as the weapon, it's the best i can get 4 now 4 veradux.
