To clarify, technically WaW is the 8th installment. The original was Call Of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call Of Duty: Finest Hour, Call Of Duty 2, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Call Of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4: MW, then Call Of Duty: WaW
But, personally I like 4 better than WaW. I honestly hated the Tanks in WaW, it's so biased the way they're programmed. It takes like 3 dead on Rocket shots to kill one, and if one team controls all the Tanks none are going to spawn for the other, because new tanks only spawn if the ones in their place are destroyed. I hate dogs also, their programmed to be able to just around 6-7 feet, I know this because I've been killed by countless dogs on Courtyard jumping straight over the things I used to get up. I doubt we'll see a dog have the ability to just straight up 6-7 feet. Then there is also Second Chance. I'm sort of biased on this one though, I never use it and I hate when I'm about to kill someone in it then I get shot from another place when I spawn I come to realize they're healed, it can be good strategy sometimes but I just don't like it.
I mean, I played it for a while, only playing SnD because there were no tanks, I stopped at my 4th prestige because I just got tired of it.
I'm just going to stick to 4 till MW 2 comes out, though.
I've only played th start of cod5 so what is it whith those nazi zombies?? Anyway I think, for mutiplayer at least, that COD2 is the best.. Don't know why, just like it better than the others...
Modern Warfare is way better in my opinion simply because the setting. It seems more up to date with today's world. Now don't get me wrong, I love Call of Duty 5, but if I had only one Call of Duty game I had to choose from it would be Modern Warfare. I can't wait for Modern Warfare 2!!!!
