Well, shows you have not read much of this, I guess.
Take a look at the FAQ, some of the first info is that this is indeed a contest, though you do not have to write. You can submit comics, animations and writing, or a mix of these, as long as the follow the story.
It is like the MWT, but funnier and less serious (it seems), and will possibly lead to a spot in a game/animation/whatever, Strop is planing.
So, hopefully I make more sense now.
