The president is one of, if not the most well protected man in the world. I highly doubt low tech terrorists will be able to get anywhere close to him.

A low tech RPG still kills... Yes, he's at risk. He's at risk anywhere he goes. I don't think he'll be assassinated, it'd be practicably impossible to locate him from a terrorists resources, and even if he was located, he's there to visit combat troops. Combat troops. They're more than capable of defending him, aside from the doubtless hundreds of men tasked with guarding him at all times.

Anywho, of course he's at risk. But from a realistic perspective the Iraqi people have to know by now that this is a war they cannot win. What good would assassinating the president do? Other than make the war filled with more hate.
