Since Saturday was the 65th anniversary of the 1944 D-Day invasion I started watching the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers again. I was just wondering what everyone here thought to that series, if it was well done or not and if they enjoyed it or not. Personally, I found it to be a fairly good representation of the 101st's involvement in the Second World War and think that they should make more for other wars, such as Korea for example.

It's been awhile since I've seen the series but I remember much of it. It was a powerful series I thought. I felt that it captured what it was really like to be a soldier and just how much each man relys on each other to watch after one another and make sure everybody made it back alive.

I've only seen a part of the series but that part was really good. Like Legatus said, it feels real.
