I really think they need to let go of the series and start a new one. I mean, look. They made a FFXIV(Translation-Final Fantasy fourteen). Thats FOURTEEN! And that's only with the numbers. We still have Tactics, Crystal Chronicles, and the unnamed ones to count.

I am not saying "ZOMG teh seris is so gey i hate it zomg lol!!!1111one1!". I am very fond of the series and enjoyed the games. But I think that there are too many. I think that they should stop that series and start a new one with a name name, a new genre would be great. Does anyone agree?

You're missing the point. Thirteen/fourteen, is a big number. I will quote myself now because I don't want to say the same thing again.

Why? Square enix has lots of different games but the Final Fantasy series is definetly the best.

So? Mario has like 87 different variations of their games.

(FF will never be the same, as long as the main creator is retired)

I don't think they have made enough. It is by far one of the most popular series out there and people will continue to buy them.

If you were Square Enix and you have a successful game trilogy why would you stop producing new games if you still make a nice profit?

They will probably stop making them when we the consumer stop buying them. Which will probably be never considering FF games are more popular in Japan than with other countries. And we all know how popular they are here

i dont think it will ever end even if square drops it someone else will pick it up or fans will make a new one.

If people keep buying them, Square will keep making them.
And who exactly is going to complain?

The fans are happy, Square is happy, GameHaters are probably happy considering they have no reason to go anywhere near the fans, games, or Square.

14 is the new mmo coming out sometime that they announced at E3.

They're somehow actually making games that we still enjoy through new additions that make a real difference to the game. 14 has been announced in E3 and it looks good Don't forget Final Fantasy X-1 and X-2. And every bloody game has a story I enjoy too much!!!
