There was only one game rated higher than M, and it was banned from the USA, it was rated A for adults, it was basically a porno.
As for this game, I don't think it will be that great, it is very hard to make a game based on a movie. With the exception of Star Wars, and some superhero games.
Even if it is okay I won't be buying it, since the only gore-fest games that I've liked was God of War I, and II.

I read that some of the puzzles in the game will be a little more confusing than what is expected. Like the game may show you to twist the left analog stick to get out of the trap when in actuality.. there is a symbol that says press B to help escape so if you choose the analog stick you'll end up beartrapped owned. So I would probably rent it before I buy it. Most movie games aren't too great but this one dosen't have a deadline or a movie opening to meet with so there is potential. It's all in how they pull it off. Creativity is what keeps the saw franchise interesting, if they cannot transfer that into the game it will be a entire batch of failure.
