What a sick game! Anyone else out there who loves the in-depth RTS genre?!

I really like them, however they're isn't enough of them. Besides, my computer is really slow, so I couldn't play it anyway. :-(

Yeah, it takes a lot of time and effort to make a game of such a high degree.

I'm lucky to have a decent computer, but I still have trouble sometimes running RTS's smoothly.

I really really loved it! But then I got angry at the historical inaccuracies. Must be my history major half acting up -_-'

Then again, the graphics were stunning, and game-play addictive! Pity I can't buy Empire Total War...That one is even more epic.

Hmm, I haven't played Empire Total War. I suppose I'll have to check that one out!

Well Empire Total War for one has naval battles, something RTW does not. And the graphics are stunning! Your own guns can blow to pieces and kill your men though.

Apart from that, there are roughly fifty factions I think. So indeed, the game will be epic.

So does Empire Total War give you a much larger variety of factions to choose from? I know that Rome Total War only allows you access to factions that would have historically interacted with the Roman empire.

Apparently yes. You can choose...Sweden, Britain, France, Austria, Russia, Ottoman Empire, Spain, Prussia a variety of small German States and mroe I guess.

These were just a few of the factions that I currently know of.

That's pretty neat. How awesome are the naval battles?

I haven't played it yet....but you can use different types of shot. Grape-shot, normal cannon-balls and the like.

The most number of ships you can deploy if i don't recall wrongly, is around 20. Which is pretty realistic, as the battles of that time were really small.

Yeah, that's true. I'll definitely have to try it out. When I do, I'll let you know how it is

Kay thanks. My computer cannot run it, nor can I buy it. Appreciate that.

Personally, I loved to play the Greeks and Seleucids in RTW. Best factions with the widest range of units.

Yeah the Seleucids were really fun. I enjoyed playing the Carthiginians and the Gauls. Controlling the barbaric Gaul tribes is fun once in awhile

That game is the bomb! But I like Lord of the Rings Battle for middle earth better.
