I've been leaning more towards Rockband lately. Rockband isn't the hardest, I agree, but ever since it started out it has defined gaming, adding drums and a microphone to the mix. Also, Rockband is creating a lot of band games, most recently starting to work on Rock Band: Green Day. Guitar Hero is more just for the game than the band.
I prefer playing Rock Band over GH World Tour. The vocal engine works much better in the Rock Band engine, plus Harmonix puts out DLC songs so much faster than Neversoft. Not to mention that Harmonix is the company that made the first two Guitar Hero games before changing over to Rock Band. They have WAY more experience with music games than Neversoft.
Guitar Hero because for people that are really good like me it is much more competitive which is more fun than just playing for sh1ts and gigs. Way to spell Metallica wrong Alex5205.
i stand on the guitar heroes side .. i have guitar hero and have played rockband but they are quite the same things . rockband copied the guitar guitar hero copied the drums
I personally like GH better than rock band, even though rock bank is an amazing idea, it wasnt too original and people had been waiting for it. GH was awesome and original and I loved it

Rock Band revolutionized this style of music/gaming. Guitar here seen this and then came out with band hero (which i think wasnt a great idea). The new DJ hero isnt half-bad. I had fun playing it although i do best at drums and guitar. So i think they are about even, but guitar hero came first so thats who im going with.
rockband, no contest. they have better songs and they aren't covered. guitar hero has crppy graphics and they cover band ruins the game. rockband also has BEATLES rockband so i automaticaly like it more.
