Shoelaces.... What's wrong with them? They're monsters! The always become untied at the most inconvenient moment, like in an escalator (can't spell) or a crowded city street. You can double-knot them, triple-knot them, quadruple-knot them, quintuple-knot them, fuktuple-knot them, whatever! They always find a way to untie themselves! ...Just to be mean. D: Remember Velcro shoes (cool shoes)? You didn't have to experience that rubbish! Or remember Back to the Future 2 (an awesome movie)? The self-lacing Nike shoes? If the year 2015 comes and we don't have those shoes, all I'm gonna say is: WTF! D:<
I don't have a problem with mine coming untied. I have only one pair (out of four) that I never tie. Sometimes one pair comes untied once in a while but I just walk until there is a good place to stop and tie my shoe. If you have a problem with your shoes coming untied, maybe tie them tighter not more times. I have found, tieing your shoe too many times (triple-tie+ is too many, if you have to do it that many times just get some shorter strings) they come undone easier because you can't tie them tight enough.
and the random untieing in the worst time possible is as true as it gets. Although i really don't have a problem with mine. It seems like I tie them once and i don't have to worry about it again until i get a new pair of shoes.
I double knot my shoelaces and I never really have a problem with them. Except that I have to unlace them sometimes to get my boots on and then it takes ages to lace them back up and then tie them. Most of the time if I'm being driven to school or whatever I do it in the car to prevent this making me so damn angry.
