I have loads of people I know, a few less friends, goood friends and finally 2 best friends that I do everything with and we hang out and play football all day (unfortunetly almost literally). They are equal to me in friendship.
If you like 2 of your friends equally much why don't just call them good friends or 'better' friends though better would be kinda retarded in my language
You could - but then who would be your "best" friend. I would have to choose one best friend in that case. That is not fair as I like them both as much as the other!
I mean, realistically, you can have 2+ "best" friends, but technically, its impossible. How can you have 2 things that are "best" when best means that it is something that tops all the others.
if you think about it, you can have a few friends who are better than all your others. there doesn't just have to be one friend of yours who your prize as being your best friend.
Different aspects of friendship, maybe? One is teh most awesome for some activities, another for some other. But judging between which of those 'best' qualities that is the best one, isn't necessary.
As has already been stated, you may have two or more friends who you are equally attached to, making them your best friends. This kind of thing would probably occur if you were a really nice person who wouldn't want to hurt another friend's feelings if they were to find out you liked someone else better.
