Most of them really suck.. however, I was watching my brother play the brand new Ghostbusters game on PC, and that looked pretty tight. Awesome that they had almost all of the original cast reprise their roles for the game, and that it was written by Dan Aykroyd & Harold Remis.
Most of the time they're terrible. Still, there are a few exceptions:
1. 007 Goldeneye for the N64. Need I say more? Much of my childhood was wasted on this game. 2. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay for PC. A superb FPS, with a lot of cool mechanics. 3. King Kong for Xbox360. The best of the myriad King Kong video games tied in with Peter Jackson's movie, it boasted some pretty sweet graphics, thrills, chills, and a lot of monkey business. 4. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The very example of what a hack and slash should be. Forget LOTR Conquest, this is still the best after six years. 5. A bunch of Star Wars games, starting with the Atari Empire Strikes Back.
Sure, there's a ton of crap in the movie game genres, but that doesn't mean we should throw out the gems as well.
SpiderMan games arent half bad. I could say the Hulk game from the movie was OK Scarface game roxx! it depends on the movie, and depends on the company making it.
