This is about whether you think Ozzy Osbourne wrote better music while he was with Black Sabbath or as a solo artist.

My opinion is as a solo artist they have more variety and not to mention Ozzy's guitarist was amazing to say the least..

I prefer Black Sabbath because of their golden classics like "Paranoid" and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" but when he went solo, he did have Randy Rhodes and well, hes awesome! The solos in "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley" were just, to say the least, phenomenal, well to me that is. Black Sabbath just has the Gods of Metal in powering them and they've made more songs that everybody loves than Ozzy has.

I think Ronnie James Dio was better singing Paranoid than Ozzy Osbourne


Ya, and horses drink sulfuric acid.

My personal favorite Sabbath song (Besides Paranoid, War Pigs, etc.) would be After Forever, followed by Solitude. Those are classics in my book.

I agree with napolian because i liked Black Sabbath when Ozzy was in it, but not after he got fired... I guess the more i think about it Black Sabbath was much more influential for metal music which makes them more of a Legend
