I have many favorites; Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Percy is the son of Poseidon), Gregor the Overlander (Finds an underground city and fights bad guys), Rangers Apprentice (Will is recruited as a ranger and goes on adventures), and the Twilight series (Girl meets vampire; falls in love).

Yes the Olympian books were way cool, also like the gregor books as well. I haven't read the rangers apprentice yet though.

I have a few favourite series.
I really like the Harry Potter ones. (Everyone knows them but i'll explain about them anyway) They were written by J.K Rowling and were about Harry Potter(Obviously) and his friends Ron and Hermione trying to stop Voldemort (The bad guy)
I also liked the Cherub series. They are based on a young guy called James Adams. His mum dies and he is taken away to an army facility. He goes on missions all over the world with his friends. It's like a young James Bond sort of thing.

Cirque de Freak. It is based on horror books. But I am reading a book that is a second one of another one. The first one was Heat and this one is The Last Shot.

I like the Redwall series. It's long enough to remain entertaining and I've read like 15 or 20 of them. It's not about any one character, more like a bunch of series's compiled into one, with several book's with one set of heroes and villains, and sometimes just one book per set.

I like the Redwall series.

WOOOT finally somebody mentions the redwall series!

Another good series is the Artemis fowl series. Its about a 12 year old genius who captures a faire. But the fairies are like super advanced and stuff, it was a really cool series.

My favorite series is the Death Gate Cycle. It's where I got my username...

The setting is four worlds, separated by Death's Gate, a gaping maw in the sky. Two demigod races, the Patryns and Sartans, fight for control of the four worlds. The Sartans have imprisoned the Patryns in a fifth world, called the Labyrinth. The main character, a Patryn named Haplo, is set on a mission to break out of the Labyrinth and gain control of the mensch (which is a term to describe non-magic races). It's a seven book series, absolutely great. Written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Artemis Fowl is cool. Has anyone heard about the Alex Rider series? He is a spy and goes on these crazy missions.

I like the Skullduggery Pleasant series by Derick Landly.

There are 3 books out: Skullduggery Pleasant.
Skullduggery Pleasant - Playing With Fire.
Skullduggery Pleasant - The Faceless Ones.

Basically i'ts about this girls uncle dies and leaves her his house. One day she sleeps their alone, an evil monster type thing finds her, then a skeleton named Skullduggery Pleasant saves her. Then he teaches her how to fight do magic, etc.

They go on adventures fighting bad guys, trying to stop an evil villain from bringing back the evil gods called The Faceless Ones.

It's a really good series, i highly recommend reading it.
