Balders Gate: Dark Alliance 2 because it's an excellent example of what a D&D style game should be. It does dungeon crawlers proud without really placing the player(s) into many dungeons.

... I can't believe this. This is sad BGDA2 is one of the best Dungeon Crawl games in the universe. KOT2 is a terrific character development and fighting game... KNIGHTS AND CASTLES! THE GREATEST KAC GAMES EVER! AND YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM! Granted, they are rather obscure.
