I even posted on ConArtist's Armor Profile and suggested to have different maps and more kinds on soldiers that call airstrikes, and guess what....those are included!!
Is it just me?? is anyone else excited?!

The 1917 was epic, but this one is just not so impressive. I'm not saying that its bad but as players we reasonably expect a bit more, if not more than the previous game. I'm quiet disappointed by its historical setting.

For a game setting in 1944, the armament of Wehrmacht was ridiculously obsolete, with their equipments being in 1941 or earlier (except the Panzerschreck, of course). Let us detail:

1. Riflemen: No serious problem, but would "Grenadier" or "Panzergrenadier" be a more WW2-feeling name? Otherwise âSchützeâ (German for rifleman) would be more appropriate.

BTW the Wehrmacht have already equipped with limited G-43 semi-automatic rifles since 1943. Would you consider one or two semi-automatic rifleman in the riflemen team?

2. Sturmtruppen: I was shock when saw the term. "Sturmtruppen" was a WW1 term. That was no such term in WW2 as Sturmtruppen-style tactic (the infiltration tactics) was the basis for every post-WW1 German infantry. "Pioneer"(German combat engineer) would be however a more appropriate title, as both objectives were similar: to force into enemy line and engage in close battle.

As a close combat unit the Sturmtruppen was correct to be equipped with MP-40s, but the other two riflemen should be equipped with more suitable weapons. For example one of them could equip with the Flammenwerfer 35 which suit even more in their role of trench-sweeper (BTW, "trench", what an abusive Great War-era term in a game that was no trench), while another guy wield a STG-44 assault rifle if you really want to retain long-range but impressive assault firepower (I guess that's why you keep this close assault team with rifles) â" Remember it was 1944.

BTW would you consider to change the Assault team icon to an SMG instead of a grenade? Grenades are not exclusive for Assault team now.

3. MG-34: WHERE IS MY MG-42!? Its true that the MG-34 was still in service and still in manufacturing, but the MG-42 was manufacturing in even higher priority and was replacing the former. BTW is it possible to make the co-gunner operate the gun when the primary gunner fell?

4. Sniper: No serious problem, but if the riflemen donât deserve G-43 semi-automatic rifles, these elite deserved. G-43 with the ZF-4 scope were common use by the Wehrmacht.

5. Officer: When I saw his beard I suspected if you just copy and paste the one from 1917â¦â¦.

6. Panzer III: Itâs the most annoying. Whatâs the point of fielding some obsolete early-war trashes when the Wehrmacht had much MUCH more Panzer IV, Panzer V and Tigers in 1944? Please! Panzers were German icon in WW2, and now they were impossibly hunted down by American trashes namely M4 which in reality was hunted by the Panzers.

To speak of armor, disappointingly, I actually expected there would be more vary armors than in 1917! Tanks were reasonable to be the final, super weapon in 1917, but it just should not be in 1944.

i agree with moknin as well, it is a good game but i think it could have recieved a little more effort on the german side the weapons are nearly all obsolete

whats the point its already been released and no matter you say interesting to con artist just to impress him,he just gets disapointed when people doesnt impresses his creation and i think hel pull it out unless we praise it

Actually, hes making improvement and listening to feedback on the games. Sooner or later, hes gonna start commenting on this page. Dont worry, hes gonna fix some of the major problems. If you want your voice to be heard more, go to www.conartistgames.com and comment on his most latest blog. Trust me, the great Con is hard at work again just to improve the game.

Also, how can you guys say that the game is worse??? Theres Air support here! Its always gonna be better!

In my opinion it's just way too hard and each battle takes way too long.

ConArtist should input a difficulty select.

YES!!!

Is that in reply to my post?

And I found two hard missions, the second US because if I spent more than a minute the computer would have five squads in the middle bunker,

And the other one which has cover in the middle and nothing on the sides, I sat at zero moral for awhile only building officers to bring it up and using tons of airstrikes
