I'm not even sure if there is anyone out there who cares but I wanted to try to do what I can to save a show I really love.
The Unusuals is a TV drama about the adventures of the motley crew of police detectives who work at New York City's 2nd precinct. The title of the show basically somes it up, they deal with some very unusual cases. The show stars Amber Tamblyn as newly minted Detective Casey Shraeger and Jeremy Renner as the veteran Detective Jason Walsh whose freshly dead partner Casey is assigned to replace. The stories that unfold are bizarre and complex and the cast of charaters is fasinating. The series premiered this season on the ABC network.
Now that I've explained the premise of the show and basically writen a review I can get to the point. I like television. I don't mean all the stupid "reality" stuff that seems to be clogging the air waves more and more. I mean real TV shows with writers and actors and stories that make you think and feel and want to know what they've got in store for the next episode. The Unusuals was one of only two new shows this season that struck me as being worth checking out. It's the only show on ABC I've had any interesting in at all for a long time. Those who are reading this probably choose to because they recognized the name of the show or because thay have nothing better to do (like myself) but if you do know the show, if you like the show please follow the link at the bottom of this post to the petition spot and sign the petition. There might be someone out there who understands what I mean when I say that this series had me hooked from the start and even though the line has gone slack and the boat is taking on water I'm still hooked.
