You know, there's mods in the top 100 too. I doubt any of us have rate spammed......
I wasn't going to list everyone. . . . But TTF was mainly moaning ab0out people who have lots of games rated, not necessarily ratespammers.
And Cen and me were the first two people who came to mind with lowlowlow numbers of game ratings. Mainly because I was simultaneously talking to Cen on two different threads. . . . > >
I only rate a game if I'm also going to comment on it because that way it proves I played it. When I first joined AG I thought it would be proof that I wasn't using the rating trick, but then I realized how often people comment on profiles and that adds up. Maybe profile comments and game comments should be seperate, so you can tell if the person leaves comments as well or just rates and moves on.
I'm unlocking this thread for a few minutes to reiterate something else important, except this time in blue:
* Don't accuse other people of doing things you have no evidence of doing. We (the moderators) can find evidence and will act upon it. If we find something improper has happened, we ban the offending user. Simple!
* None of the moderators have "rate-spammed" and it is in very poor taste to insinuate that we may have. If you really doubt us, you will find that I leave an in-depth review to almost every single game that I have ever rated. If you wish to complain about this, follow that example and then maybe you can think about it.
* More importantly, points are there for fun, not whining. Alternatively if you can't have fun while playing for points, ignore them for a while and when you bother to look again you can be pleasantly surprised at what your involvement has reaped!
