I thought I saw a thread about vegetarians and vegans, but oh well. Vegans are people who don't eat animal products of any kind. They don't believe in use of animals for food, clothing or anything else. For example, vegans won't eat chicken or eggs from chickens.
Vegetarians are people who don't eat animals of any kind, but may still eat things like eggs and dairy products. So to sum it all up, other than the fact that vegans and vegetarians don't eat animals, vegans also do not consume any products from animals.
I know there is a thread discussing vegans/vegetarians somewhere else (feel free to resurrect it if you want to), so since this one was just that one question, I'll lock this up.
Also, this. Did you know about that awesome function of the internet?
