And I choose bold as Love. SRV was and will always be one of the greatest blues guitar players, but I honestly think Pride and Joy is one of his weaker songs, whereas Bold as Love is one of my favorites of Jimi's. It's very well put-together while retaining a lot of power, so I go for Bold as Love.
Yes, Pride And Joy is simple. But Bold As Love is a classic by the best there ever was. It isn't neither of their best songs, but they are both great blues tracks. I love the complexity of Bold As Love.
This is so hard i love blues music (check out the thread i made on it). Im gunna have to go with Bold As Love though because as much i love Pride And Joy it isnt SRV best song (as pretty much everyone else has said).
