Hi, because people often wanted to watch tv when I wanted to play xbox( one tv ) we moved it to another room and connected it to a old not flat screen moniter from may be 2000 or 1999 or 98. It worked fine except every once and a while the screen would go blank and would say no input and go into powersaving mode. So to fix it I would have to press down on the thing that connects the xbox to the moniter. I would then tape it down so it would stay there. Each tapping would last for a bit more than a week.
I got used to this and although I wanted a cure, it was not nessasory. However, today, the screen went blank so I tried to tape it down, however the tape wouldn't work after 15 min so I messed around on the side of the monitor and then gave up and turned it off and on. It normally worked but this time the monitor turned on it power save and when I pressed down on the thing that connects to the xbox and nothing happens.
So could help me fix the one that would at least let me play the xbox. And if this gets fixed can you help me fix the problem so that it always works?
