As you can see from this screenshot, I destroyed every single polygon in every single level and got a perfect score (Insane Level 6 is highlighted since that was the hardest). How did I do it?

Believe it or not, this game is not all about luck. It's about reevaluating the points you've spent on upgrades and optimizing them in just the right places for the given level you're on. Most levels are geared toward a certain type of polygon, so it's best to gear your upgrades toward that type. To get a score of zero on each level it's important to try to save the triangles for last, but that often is actually a matter of luck and may take a lot of retries.

Once you get to the insane levels, it may be tempting to start out with triangles since they can dish out more damage, but you should stick to circles (hopefully super circles with a high chance of double damage) and make extra sure you catch a whole lot of polygons in the explosions. And if you can get that precise, try to catch both level 4 polygons and lower level polygons, so you can keep the chain going and whittle down the tough ones at the same time.

And one more thing. While you're still working with limited upgrade points, try to focus on one or two types of super polygon rather than spreading your points out to all three. Having more of a certain kind of super polygon isn't all that great if you can't spend points on making those super polygons stronger, and making them stronger isn't any good if you don't have any of them for the upgrade to effect.
