The next installment is expected to release in 2011. I personally love all three movies, and am very excited for the next movie. I love how the last movie ended with Jack Sparrow on that tiny boat; going to Florida!
I don't know, the first one was good but it went downhill from there. The storyline crawled into a corner cried itself asleep while the CGI effects just exploded into the spotlight.
I didn't know they were making another one but I'll probably just watch if for the special effects >.<.
The first one was epic than it went downhill from there. They focused to much on CGI and not enough on story, but hopefully this one will be more like the first.
I think 3 is enough. Trilogies are always a lot of fun to watch, or even sagas (1,2,3,4,5,6) like Star Wars and... Star Wars. Having 4 different ones is just weird for some strange reason, besides Rambo. I'm not really even into the movies
I really dont care much for the series but I agree if u drag sumthing on forever ppl will lose instrest and then ur wasting time and money. Sides when they try to make better movies with better effects, more charaters,etc. they usualy RUIN the movie.
I do agree with those who said they are milking it . . . but I would like to see some closure. It is sad that Kiera Knightly won't be in it, but I would like to see the next 1.
I really liked the first one. It's one of my favorite movies. I hated 2 and 3, and at this point I wish they would just stop. Besides, Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom have said they probably won't be in 4.
Well, in my humble opinion Disney is actually still making a few good things, among them are the National Treasure movies, every film they've made with Pixar and the Pirates of the Caribbean, man, Johnny Depp is so awesome, I've seen every movie he's been in since Crybaby.
That, sir, is one long sentence. I agree, the films they made with Pixar are fantastic, and the National Treasure films are good. It's just that I'm tired of Disney making things like Hannah Montana movies and stuff. >_>
I like POTC and am excited to hear that they're making a 4th one though at the same time I do agree that a trilogy would make more sense... In any case, getting to see Johnny Depp as Sparrow again will be just plain FUN! I just hope they don't blow it with the storyline.
