They seem equal they both have great games and they have equal its just sega or nintendo.

Newer Mario games, older Sonic games

This is kinda spammy, maybe instead of just saying which one is better maybe you should say why said character would be better.

I person like the old Sonic games and the old Mario games the same amount. But I don't like the new Sonic games.

Mario he's had more of an impact on the genre. Are we forgetting that Super Mario 64 was the first 3D game EVER?

I liked the older Sonic games that had Debug Mode and Level Select. *turns into a ring, turns into Hyper Sonic* I always loved hacking Sonic 3 and Knuckles... until it crashed and switched to Sonic and Knuckles.

I myself am mostly a mario person but if i had to choose i wudnt be able to both are great

Both are superb games, but personally I like more Mario.

Mario first because I'm Italian, and second Sonic is just a hedgehog on crack.

I like Mario. I wonder why my little cousin likes Sonic he's like talking about it and he's like "let's play Sonic!"
