i want to know if the xbox is better then the wii or the other way around im not sure wii is for family games and for parties while xbox is great for adventure games i want to know which on is better
Well, people would say Xbox but I'm going to pick Wii.

wii is only fun if a friend has one and you play it at his place for a couple of times, its bullpoo that its good for your health and if people thing sitting tennis improves their fitness. Good Luck!
wii is for family games
A Xbox 360 can be a Family game console, depends on your live account and some other stuff. MS Windows Vista even has a mode for games that lock/unlock specific games for users, so if you want a family games console/PC, a wii is not the only option.
I would definetly go for a 360 for 3 reasons 1. Xbox Live Marketplace, updatecentre and online playing 2. Xbox can be transported easely for LAN-parties or just take it to your friend to play (he has a bigger TV otherwise he comes to you :P) 3. Xbox can be a full media system to show everybody your photo's, video's and music (and because its so easy to transport...) Also the 360 is a lot more durable (especially the controllers) and the services of Microsoft are mostly much better than Nintendo's

I own both systems just to let you know.
1. Wii doesn't have online? Well sure, it may not be as good in some aspects, but there are waaaay fewer hackers. 2. Did you really just say that? The Wii is half the size of the 360, and besides that, theres no difference. 3. wii can do the same thing, if you even bothered to check. 4.The services are better? Nintendo pays for shipping and handling if it breaks, and they give you free points. I don't see Microsoft paying to fix you RROD.
I DONT PLAY VIDEO GAMES TO GET FIT, I PLAY THEM TO BECOME FAT! So you hate the wii because you're lazy and can't get off your couch?
It's a matter of opinion. I personally, like the Xbox360 better because I like Adventure and Action games more than Party games. Although the Wii does have some adventure games for it, for example it has Sonic Unleashed and Call of Duty: World at War. Going back to my opinion I don't like Adventure games on the Wii, so I would get the Xbox360.
