Well Guitar Hero World Tour and Metallica has kept me playing the series simply because if I get bored of guitar I switch to drums or visa versa. I am just waiting for a Joe Satriani version of the game or at least a decent song pack to purchase.

Repetitive is the right word

Well it has gotten repetitive and now I don't even want to buy Smash Hits even though it has some of my favorite songs on there (cowboys from hell, beast and the harlot).

Too much of a good thing. Of course, the 'too much' factor can vary in terms of how good the thing is... but I think GH has crossed that line.

I find it now repetitive and not very amusing. All things some day have to end.

They seriously ran out of ideas. I miss the old days when barely anyone heard of it. Now it's just stupid. I prefer real guitar anyway

I don't like GH because the heaviest song they had was Scream,Aim,Fire and Before I Forget! -.-

Guitar Hero had a good run. Guitar Hero 3 was the line of separation. All the Guitar Hero that came after that were terrible. They tried to compete with Rock Band at that time. Rock Band is now the new thing man. I love trying to be better at the drums, not really at vocals because all you need to do is make noise really.

Well, if you played it night and day for about a week or 2 yes you will get bored...

Try rock band or some action games.

Games like those you never do anything different. The songs are different but it's the same thing. In action games there is more a variety.

i bet it would be funner with drums but im boring of guitar hero when i first got it i never stopped playing it but metallica i play because i love their songs
