deets456 you made me cry, I am really moved a new football topic-creator user. Cristiano Rolando is more a celebrity than a footballer, I don't mean that he isn't great. Messi is a players who doesn't show off, he does what he needs so his team can win. So I think that Lionel Messi is a better footballer, because he has also a great personality and character.
Barca is a very strong team, with a very good midfield, many young and quick players, so the strikers get many opportunities to score. The defense has Daniel Alves and Puyol, so they don't have a problem neither there. The only weakness I can see is the goalkeeper, Victor Valdes doesn't seem very reliable.

All strong teams have strong keepers, they make the difference, one save or one mistake can decided who will win a match. Also you won't be paid that much, but many keepers later become coaches, because they are used at guiding the team and controlling all the field.
I ama glad ronaldo is gone from the EPL. He is a great pyer but all his great skills etc. can't make up for his whining, kicking, diving etc. I'm not a hige fan of Messi wither but I haven;t seen much Spainsh Tv so I haven;t seen his talents first hand but he is brilliant. He has the technique and skills plus he works hard for the team and for the win.
Yeah I'm not sure what Ronaldo was like at Sporting but I think he might do better at Madrid as far as diving, and "diva"-ishness goes. Alex Ferguson is very sucessful but he turns alot of players into divers/whiners etc. Others do it but not like at MAnchester United.

Exactly compare this kinda behaviour to Messi and it is easy to see why he is a better player. All Ronaldo has to do is shut up and play the game properly and he will be fine. Also he needs to get rid of the unnecesary tricks he does. That is why I rate Zidane so highyl, he played beautifully but efficiently, every trick he did was to get past the player not to make them look dumb like Ronaldo does. I can't wait for el Clasico for Ronaldo to come up against Puyol
my dad hates ronaldo... i think that he is a wizard with his skill... the el clasico of ronaldo vs puyol will be great and goumas you say, "I think that then we shall see epic whining, kicking, crying, diving, swearing and spitting by Cristiano Ronaldo"... but look at the league he will be playing in... the refs will let things go and call fouls that they see fit in movies... dont get me wrong i love to watch the tallent that barcelona, real madrid valencia, etc but ronaldo is still a very young tallent and amazing with his skills...
