I need help with ideas for an RPG I was planning. My head is most likely filled with rocks at the moment and I can only come up with about 43 pages of chapters for the RPG. Of course, I have no idea what I can use for weapons, the main plot, armor, shields, off-hand, items, enemies, storylines, NPCs, and things that Armor Gamers like to see in an RPG. If anybody can suggest ideas for the RPG... Oh, and I'm thinking of getting rid of Kipdon, Wakaci, and Arcturus, I'm afraid some people may not like the concept of a power-hungry demon, a 10 year old elven archer, and an ancient... thing. Any ideas will (unless it's spam or completely insane) be accepted. I also need help with designing the character sheet and the name of the RPG.

Level: 1, 0/20 EXP.
Class: (Mage, Fighter, Rogue, Ranger, Healer)
Weapons: (Staff, Iron Shortsword, Bronze Dagger (2x), Wooden Shortbow)
[Staff- Mage and Healer]
[Iron Shortsword- Fighter]
[Bronze Dagger (2x)- Rogue]
[Wooden Shortbow- Ranger]
Offhand: (Staff, Bronze Dagger (2x), and Wooden Shortbow are two handed, and thus will be shown like this: Weapon: Staff Offhand: Staff, you get the picture)(or as a Fighter, Wooden Shield)
Skills: [Fighter- Multi-Slash, Strike, or Parry]
[Mage- Fireball, Ice Blast, or Lightning]
[Rogue- Stealth (Passive), Sneak Attack, or Steal]
[Ranger- Swift Shot, Fireshot, Accuracy (Passive)]
[Healer- Heal, Cure, or Strike]
Multi-Slash___Hits enemy 3 times.
Strike___Deals 150% damage
Parry___Blocks damage for one turn, rebounds 50% of damage
Fireball___Deals 150% Fire Damage
Ice Blast___Deals 150% Ice Damage
Lightning___Deals 150% Electric Damage
Stealth___Enables Sneak Attack
Sneak Attack___ 60% chance to deal 300% damage
Steal___50% chance to steal and item from target
Swift Shot___25% chance to deal 200% damage, never misses
Fireshot___Deals 150% Fire Damage
Accuracy___Boosts chance to hit by 50%
Heal___Heals target 30 HP
Cure___Negates the effects of disease, poison, curse, etc. on target
Items: (Choose one, HP Potion (2x), MP Potion (2x))

If anyone wants to add anything to the character list, just say so. I also need help with some weapon ideas. I sort of struggled thinking of weapons for those classes. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

complicated forums rpg's totally die, so i would advise.... stopping this or minimizing ur character sheet.

It doesn't really look that long. I had to go into vivid detail to describe what each skill does.

what era or style of fighting is this? Martial arts, asian, european?

Medeival? Imperial age? Modern?

Try to base them of something that happened in real life? if its the Imperaal age, fight in waterloo

I made a zombie RPG, a stalingrad rpg (died due to lack of interest, and a flyboy RPG now. I get a helping hand with the storyline with the last two because they atucally happened, but dont try to limit the story to one battle. This ussualy means the RPG will end rather quickly, and if your not careful, almost immediatly.

Weapons will go with the age/era your RPG takes place. Asian dynasty RPG will use weapons like spear, Martial arts, swords, bow n arrow, etc

Takes place in current time in a different time. Don't question my logic. That makes perfect sense.

hard to write it out, but i get it...

so weapons would be M 16, AK 47, RPG's, tanks, jets?

My thoughts:
Good idea, but went a tad wrong at Healer and Rogue... Healer is normally mage, too many people like Rogue. 7/10

Try something with stages, like my previous 'Evolve and Survive' it had all 4 players consistently joining in and, as the name says, evolving. Look at my new one, Evolve RPG.

if its a milataristic game, all the players would be in a squad or patrol. change the ranks to assault, medic, sniper/scout, rocketeer

Definite no. It takes place in current time, but it is essentially the past, around medieval times.

I mean, when there is a mage and not a healer, the mage would generally have healing skills

Anyway, a mage is a caster of arcane magic and spells. A healer is a caster of divine magic and spells.

medevial times? so i assume europe

weapons would be pike, spear, crossbvow, swords, daggers, primitive gunpowder units (blunderbuss), catapult, etc?

I want an RPG that is EXACTLY(almost,same main quest and the weapons,stores etc etc) Like "The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion"
