All the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson songs used to be .99 cents. Even when they changed the prices. Now all of the Mike Jackson related songs are the new release/ popular prices . . . 1.49 or however much that price is. It is a shame how they use this tragedy to gain more money. They knew that people would buy more Jackson songs now that he is gone. Oh the inhumanity.

And what's wrong with that? Yes he's dead, but the world is not going to end. If you can make a large profit from then good for them! Limewire is free anyway so......

Yea. And they are raising the price of all songs. Are they supposed to lower it for him?

It is most definitely illegal. I know it doesn't give you viruses though.

Certain files can transfer viruses, but it's not like everything you download will pwn your machine just because it's limewire. Remember that's it's another P2P sharing program, so you pretty much just have to be smart about what you download.

It is a good business move . . . but I just think it is disrespectful. I don't know if I would do that if I could, so I can't judge.

I have no clue why they use death to make a quick buck even though they base their prices on popularity.

LimeWire is completely legal. However, the purpose many people use it for is not. Downloading copyrighted music, videos, or programs without the permission of the author is illegal. This is called "copyright infringement" or &quotiracy." Calling LimeWire illegal would be like calling cars illegal because one could use it to run over somebody. It is just a tool.

Plus, you'd have to be a complete idiot to download files that give your computers viruses. Seriously. The ones with viruses are so obvious. For instance, if you are downloading music and you click on the song and there is no hyphen between the artist and the song and it's all lowercase, that is a virus. And if you are looking up pornography, then you'll probably get a virus. Also, if the fil has less than 900 KB or MB, it's most likely a virus.

I've used it before, and I did get a virus from it. Got rid of it with a simple virus scan, but I still got one.

AND, I'm not finished, most Anti-Virus programs can handle viruses from LimeWire. Everybody should have some sort of Anti-Virus Protection on there computer. Nowadays, it is way too dangerous no too.

Now, about iTunes. iTunes is like the GameStop of media music players. They screw there customers over so much. I have plenty of examples. If you're computer crashes amd you e-mail Apple telling them this, they will not let you re-download ANY of the music because it is against their policy. Sometimes if you want a specific song from an album, you'll go to the album and that song will say next to it, "Album Only". That is the biggest load of BS I have ever seen. You mean to tell me that I have to buy this entire album if I want that song on my iPod? Why do some movies cost more than $10 to rent? Why do crappy artists get featured on iTunes 60% of the time?
Why do they artists get the least amount of money from the purchase you make? You do realize that the artist only gets about 12 cents from every purchase you make from them, right? If that's the case, you might as well use LimeWire.

Micheal Jackson was one of the most influential performers of his time. Why would you come in here and be so disrespectful globdog?
