Okay, science-fiction is my favorite genre and somehing that comes up a lot is slipsppace. (Note, that word has four different links.) I am extremely interested in this topic. Share how you think it may/may not work. Please try to include as much evidence as possible.

I see the similarity to the jets (sort of) but it would be cooler if it just tore through the (dimensional barrier?) and got sucked into oblivion. XD I can imagine the above stated happening in the future though. Tragic, yet hilarious.
