Ok, i know that most(?) of the users here r from USA, and power metal hasn't gained much success there.

I myself live in EU, and power/speed metal is quite popular around (Helloween, Edguy, Gammaray, DragonForce etc.)

I challenge u to tell what do you like about the genre, and maybe what kind of bands do you listen!

My "hotlist" at the moment is: Dragonland, Angra and Andre Matos.

Not from US, but dragonforce are one of my favourite bands. My ex has a tribute band, incredible music.

Conquest is a good power metal band, they're very underground though.

Death rock isn't a genre and power metal has clean vocals.
