I think Eddie Van Halen should have gotten more credit for playing lead guitar on Beat It.
Rick Derringer also played great guitar on Eat It.
But comparing the two songs, Beat It is known worldwide and hardly anybody knows who the guitarist is.
Yeah,Rick Derringer was very underrated. Do you remember Hang on Sloopy? It was a number one song in 1965,and that blonde kid singing and playing guitar is Rick Derringer.
