Happy 4th July these holidays are very important for a country
On topic fact which I have to say: Greek independence day is 25th of May is the anniversary of the declaration of the start of Greek War of Independence from the Ottoman Empire, in 1821

I don't think that England has an independence day, cause the last one who conquered England was William, Duke of Normandy about 1000 years ago.

We celebrate 4th July in our own special way. some people say it is Atlantis or JFK's assasination but the biggest secret of al time is that England allow USA to think they won so we could get rid of them lol jk.

I would say the closest thing England has to 4th July is Bonfire night where we celebreate our king not being killed by burning an effigy of one of the plotters.

You should let someone conquer so you would have more holidays, the other countries have a day of vacation more. ( just lawling around)

-I thought that USA got independence by defeating England, is it?

Not just the US. The French and the Spanish also helped. Interesting fact though, the Spanish still refused to see the USA as a separate nation even after the war. They just wanted to weaken the Brits.

4th of July is when the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. So no, the don't have one.

YAY! Now we can tell the Brits we won by launching rockets into the air! Just joking. We have the largest one in the country here in Houston !

That's what we like to call arogance and decadence.
