Ok, I got my toe. It's got an ingrown toenail. Are there any quick methods of getting rid of the infection? Sort of creepy I know, but I need a remedy.
You can also talk about other remedies to other types of infections.
Okay, If you cut a V out of the middle of the tip so it doesn't hurt too badly when you're cutting it it should start growing out from under your skin eventually. In the mean time I would recommend rock salt (table salt has iodine in it and is useless) stirred into boiling water. Wait for it to cool down and soak your toe in it for 15 minutes 3 times a day. Or pay to go to the doctor and see what they say. The rock salt thing is what I tell my customers to do with infected piercings.
Hm, thanks for the advice! I wonder what other things other people have to say. This will probably get the award for the weirdest real life topic on AG. . . .
Yes, I know that. You know, there are such things as home remedies. Google doesn't always give you those types of results. I could have, but I didn't for that reason.
Well, Firetail, I saw your result. Thing is, I don't got any of that stuff. I've got Hydrogenperoxide and some other disinfectants. I'm not really equipped to deal with it. Although I might follow the podiatrist cause it is chronic.
I have a good idea. Teach yourself how to treat an infection by playing dark cut. Just kidding... I only know how to treat cuts, not ingrown toenails. But for the record, try cleaning the infected area first...
