Okay well that achievement only applies to Sonny.You can help by healing or destroying the Hydra's focus forcing it to recover focus preventing it too use that Toxin.

Hm well to be honest I have no clue. Just stick with destroying focus and healing
Direct damage and damage over time are both damages that count. Listen to Omnitask. Stick to destroying focus and heal your teamates.
I can swear I heard DoT doesn't count.But to be safe, I suggest disrupt, reform and crystallize if bio.
