This is a thread you can ask me any question you want about Christianity and I will answer it to the best of my ability. I am a Christian, or to be more specific, Reformed Presbyterian. There will be no spam, and no stupid mean remarks. And I will answer the questions, so ask away, anything about God, Christianity or... anything...
Eh, it's still rubbish though. Karma? Rebirth? Planes of Existence? There's no proof for any of that either. As for 'don't tell unless you ask'.. aren't you technically contradicting that by posting about how awesome it is?
I'm not a buddhist. I just like to study it. That's also why I said following it as a philosophy can be helpful. Not a religion. But yeah, it makes more sense to me than Christianity.
but you see the problem is you havent proven he doesnt exist yet either.
Is God white or black or asian?
To answer this you have to understand the Holy Trinity. Jesus was white, but nobody living knows the race of God, and the Holy Spirit doesnt have a races.
'My dad says' is not evidence.
It's not "my dad says" its the scientists themselves say.
It's not "my dad says" its the scientists themselves say.
The scientists you're making up? I'm not taking your word for it.

Another failure to understand on your part I'm afraid. There is something called "The Burden of Proof". Here's how it works:
I make a claim - any claim I want. Let's say.. that there are small gnomes that live in my garden & they make my plants grow healthy & strong. Now, these gnomes are invisible to the eye, because they cast a spell on themselves so that humans can see them.
So, do you believe in my gnomes purely off of my statement? I certainly wouldn't. To anyone that says that my gnomes don't exist - I can say: "You haven't proven they don't exist" - but here's the burden of proof. It's not your responsibility to prove that my gnomes exist, because not only is it ridiculous, but I'm manufacturing it in such a way that it is impossible to determine whether or not they exist.
Essentially, the more outlandish the claim (i.e. a being that controls and created our entire universe) the more rock solid the evidence has to be. I'm not making any outlandish claims. There is no evidence to support the view that there is in fact, a god. Any sane, rational person who has been shown no evidence for something at all, will be skepitcal of claims like, humans shooting lightning out of their eyes.
In short - it's your responsibility to prove something, not mine.
And you're right? What proof do you are right? Have you ever thought that that book might be wrong?
I could say the exact same thing to you. Except, I don't think it's sad. You're making a choice to believe in this illusion. I think it's.. distasteful.
It may not be an illusion to him.
I think I'll end this post with something random...
God said "Let there be Al Gore" and there was Global Warming. Thanks a lot, God.

Frankly I dont care what you think I know its true. and dont you think i wouldnt lie considering its a sin?
I have a question for you: Why are you even on this site debating with a 13-year-old in the middle of the day. Dont you have a job or a wife or something?
There is a thread like this already and it just isn't a good idea. There are enough threads about God and Christianity. You can strike up the same conversation in one of those threads in the World Event forum.
someone dies and they have the choice to watch over their family from earth. do you think god lets them do this?
If you mean they become a gaurdian angle than no, but they can watch their family, just not interact with them. I'm not completely sure about this but this is what i think.
