i think everyone knows that obama killed a fly. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is irate over this. they are sending a "humane fly catcher" to obama and dragging his name thru the dirt. PETA is insane! its just a friggin fly! actually, IMO, killing that fly helped america more than anything else hes done in office so far.

It's a repeated thread but the other is a bit old. I think that Obama did well killing that fly, he was giving an interview and it was very annoying. Also not many persons would kill a fly so easily without using anything else except their hands. He is very capable of killing flies.

Wait... PETA didn't freak out when Palin had an interveiw while a turkey was getting killed and drained behind her.. PETA is insane, nobody likes flys! Whats the "Humane Fly Catcher" gonna do? Trap 'em an gas 'em? It's just a fly! If it was Bush you could PETA could freak out over this... But thats just ridiculous.
PETA overreacts all the time. Reporters post anything they see or hear about a well-known person. Also, normal people kill flies all the time, why is PETA only concerned about Obama doing it?
It is repeated but that thread died. I think everyone is going overboard with that. I bet you anyone would of killed the fly. He kept stuttering in the interview because it was annoying him. He did well to kill it.
He killed a fly, oh no. I already gave my opinion on the other thread, but I'll give a watered down version here. PETA freaks over everything, so we should all just ignore them.
I love how Ingrid Newkirk says if animal testing led to a cure for AIDS they'd be against it. The kicker though is how the VP of PETA takes insulin for her diabetes but claims she's not a hypocrite (insulin contains some animal products).
So PETA sends him a Fly Catcher (they make those?) to catch and kill flies. Yep it's all clear now...although it would have been better if they would have just sent him a "Humane Fly Swat"...
