I've seen alot of other forums that have polls whichare a quite success. I think AG should have them just for the fun of it and not only that but because it brings debate clos and easier to point out.
For Example: What game is better? Fragger or Sonny?
A poll can be setup and it can be discussed properly on results. I know that the ratngs of the game tell you but this is more accurate. We can have a percentage rating next to the polls with maybe 5 answers max. What do you think?
I think a poll would be more useful for figuring out whether or not people support certain features being added to the site. They don't really need a poll to tell what games are more popular, and a poll would not be more accurate because the ratings would have more votes in them making them the best results for finding out which games are best. People have polls within the forums all the time, and while granted it would be nice to have a site poll, it first would require that there be something that needs to be polled about.
Many threads like that are already in different forums. There are VS threads, and this or that threads. You just have to look around. Some members also host polls in their about.
I didn't point the poll to be about game only, I just used it as an example.
You didn't answer the other questions.
Like, the polls people have on their abouts and if you go back pages in the tavern or use the forum search for polls and you will find mostly locked topics about them. Go to the people's pages and some might still be doing their polls on their about.
You peole know what I mean about polls right? For the forums? Like when you are posting a thread there is an option that says add poll? I'm not sure if I gave my suggestion in an understandable way like that?
