I made a post about how to draw water on this thread. Now from what I understand this thread is for posting whatever you want right? without proper catagory it says in the description. So do you think its cool that the moderators moved it to a different thread?
The moderators can pretty much do what they feel is necessary, so it can be moved . . . but I agree the tavern is pretty much an "everything else" place.
Without proper category means post anything here that wouldn't fit better in another category. Your thread belonged in a different category. It's no big deal, people put things in the wrong place all the time.
Don't worry if we move your threads, there are a few good reasons as to why we do it:
1) Tidiness, as green explains.
2) Moving a thread to the appropriate section also increases the chance you get of people who are actually interested reading the thread and giving you helpful feedback.
3) It also decreases the chance of people starting an argument over what section the thread goes in >_> Sometimes this is unavoidable however as a thread might possibly fit in several sections or none at all (in which case it goes in the Tavern).
We don't think any the less of users for posting in the wrong section...unless we start remembering them for doing so persistently. All we ask for is a little common sense and once you get used to where things tend to go, it should be fine.

Though sometimes to the wrong section. There have been a thread moved through three-four sections, before it found the right spot to be.

Now, the description says

which means that you can put up threads here that does not belong in ANY other of the sections. As already explained, this means you should check the other sections and figure out if it belongs somewhere else (like the art section, where the artists/nerd reside), and if it does not, you can place it in the Tavern.
Now, on another note (as this has been discussed already, and I am just saying what the other said, just in another way), you should not make threads about the decision of mods, but instead ask them directly. That way you are sure to get an answer, even if it is not the right mod (they will find out who it was, and ask, if there is a problem), and you will not have to listen to people like me.
